Brymor showcased its expertise on the cutting edge of innovation at UK Digital Construction Week.
The firm was invited to the leading industry event at the ExCel centre in London by its construction management platform provider Procore.
Brymor’s Integrated Systems Manager Lisa Gurney and Quality Manager Clare May gave a big screen presentation on the Innovation Stage about Brymor’s Procore Journey supported by HR Director Carmen Morton and Head of QHSE Sacha Fillingham.
They guided attendees through the A-Z of implementing a construction management platform including the challenges and successes Brymor faced and how it is now using its data to benefit its business.
Clare said: “Construction management platforms are at the cutting edge of our industry.
“Brymor are successfully using Procore to provide critical analytics and trending to further excel our business.”
Clare and Lisa used the £55m Horizon Cruise Terminal built for Associated British Ports (ABP) in Southampton as a case study to demonstrate how Brymor successfully implemented the Procore system.
Kris Carter, Procore Product Marketing Manager, said: “Brymor’s presentation was absolutely fantastic, and gave a hugely valuable insight into the realities of onboarding and implementing a construction management solution.
“The culture change and change management piece is always the biggest part of bringing on board a software solution, and you brought it to life with tangible strategies for driving change.”
UK Digital Construction Week is the UK’s leading event for digital construction, engineering, design, manufacturing and operation.
It gives delegates the chance to see the newest technology available to revolutionise building projects, hear about the future of digital construction and network with fellow professionals.
This year’s event – the first for two years because of the pandemic – included speakers, presentations, seminars, workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations.
Organisers hailed the show as a major success which exceeded expectations. Next year’s even is on May 18 to 19.
