This housing scheme was undertaken on behalf of Radian Housing. In encompassed the external refurbishment, fire improvements and replacement of front doors to residential properties in two high rise blocks.

From the outset both Brymor and our client made sure that the residents of Longwood Park were fully informed and at the forefront of everything we did through:-

  • Regular presentation to and consultations with residents associations
  • Site office open door policy – ensure all residents know who the site manager is and his name
  • Newsletters to residents and neighbours
  • Customer/resident Surveys/feedback forms Forms returned to Quality department not to site staff in free post envelopes – any concerns will be anonymous, prize draw for returned questionnaires.
  • Considerate Constructor scheme membership
  • Information boards – With daily updates and areas where work is happening today
  • Clear signage and hoardings to properly separate working area

Following the success of this recently completed project, Radian then awarded a new-build housing project in Swaythling on a negotiated basis.

The development has been designed with several architectural features such as lead canopies in order to add character to the scheme.

PROJECT: 22 New Flats and Community Centre, Landport, Portsmouth
