As a considerate contractor Brymor are committed to building positive, long term relationships with the local communities where we work. Our teams actively engage with community groups, local charities and ensure wherever possible we provide training opportunities for young people.
On all our schemes, particularly those where we work in schools, care homes or hospitals, we look at interesting ways to interact with the occupants and end users. Through open days, project presentations, school assembly talks, feedback sessions, newsletters and other project communications, we make sure we consult with and talk to the people we impact the most to ensure we understand, respect and do our best to accommodate their needs and concerns.
In addition we take great pride in helping our clients achieve fundraising goals wherever possible through donations, fundraising events and offer resources and supplies.
We also participate in a number of local and industry groups including Hampshire Constructing Excellence, Women in Property and the Portsmouth Festivities. We work closely with the Hampshire Construction Training Association, Construction Skills, Education Business Partnership and local schools and colleges in annually offering several work experience placements for local students. This has been very successful with two recent work experience students joining the company in full time trainee roles.
